Bio: My life has been transformed by the power of God in such an amazing way. Before Christ came into my life I was an absolute mess. I was hopelessly addicted to heroin and crack cocaine and I could not break out of the cycle I was trapped in. I had no hope and had given up on life. I ended up in prison in 2005 and that is where I had an encounter with Christ... I suddenly had a little bit of hope and things changed for me. Christ came into my life and filled me with hope and he stirred up within me compassion for others. When released from prison I went to a Christian rehab ran by David and Dinah Sansome MBE, where I received all the love and support that I needed. I soon grasped the vision of reaching the lost and I became staff and then went on to manage various homes. It has been a challenging journey, turning from the old life and surrendering to Christ. I have been shaped and moulded into a completely different person, thanks to God. I thank God that I now have a purpose in life and I know that God has an amazing plan. What God has done for me, I do not deserve. He pours out His blessings continually. I am now married to a wonderful husband, which is a great gift from God I am now working as Community Development Manager for The Salvation Army in Splott, Cardiff. Me and my husband are very excited about the future and we pray that he uses us to expand His kingdom. My husband has been through extensive cancer treatment since 2014 and recently had to have a laryngectomy and part pharynectomy too. The Lord has comforted us through all of this. My husband is so blessed. He feels closer to Christ than ever before. Jesus Christ truly is The Good Shepherd! xxx
